Perisher Valley (NSW), Australia - After several years of going to Chile, the U.S. Moguls Ski Team switched it up this summer, heading down under for a three week camp at Perisher in Australia. Among the U.S. Ski Team campers were 2010 gold medalist Hannah Kearney (Norwich, Vt.), 2010 bronze medalist Bryon Wilson (Butte, Mont.), Olympians Heather McPhie (Bozeman, Mont.) and Patrick Deneen (Cle Elum, Wash.).

Dublin, Ireland - It's not too early to plan for ski season, as Irish discount airline Ryanair this week launched its London Winter Ski Program 2010/11 which offers 33 weekly flights from London's Stansted Airport to ski destinations in Cuneo, Grenoble, Lourdes, Salzburg and Turin at the lowest ski fares in Europe this year.

Lake Wanaka, New Zealand - Canada opened the 2010 FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships Saturday with a podium in women's snowboard slopestyle. USA moved four athletes into the finals of the men's and women's slopestyle with Ryan Stassel (Anchorage, Alaska) and Caty O'Connor (Auburn, Calif.) spearheading the team in ninth and sixth, respectively. Norway's Staale Sandbech and Finland's Enni Rukajarvi won gold.

Oberwiesenthal, Germany - The U.S. women's ski jumping crew were flying through the sky on Friday, competing in the Oberwiesenthal Continental Cup. USA's Sarah Hendrickson, of Park City, Utah, stomped on the podium in third. Austria's Jacqueline Seifriedsberger won the event.
