Mountain destinations across the western U.S. participating in the Mountain Travel Research Program (MTRiP) experienced sharp increases in July occupancy as well as increases in the advance reservations outlook for the next few months. |

Park City, UT - In addition to a rebranding with the fifth new name in its history -- now just "Canyons" -- new owner Talisker Mountain Inc. this week unveiled a new state-of-the-art chairlift, a realigned direct-connect gondola, expanded terrain and vastly improved snowmaking capabilities in preparation for the 2010-11 ski season at the Park City-area ski resort. These changes quantify the most improvements to any ski resort in North America this year. |

| Lake Wanaka, New Zealand - The 2010 Snowboard and Freestyle Junior World Championships are only days away with opening ceremonies taking place this Friday. The event, scheduled for August 21-31 in New Zealand, will be the first time that snowboarding and freestyle skiing are performing on the same stage in a World Championship event. It will also be the first time slopestyle will be included in a FIS Championship level event. |
