| PARK CITY, Utah (April 12) - Noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Steadman (Vail, CO), who has headed the USSA's renowned volunteer physicians' program over 30 years, was honored Saturday as the first recipient of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's Dr. J. Leland Sosman Award. The award was presented by the USSA President and CEO Bill Marolt during the Team's spring medical summit meeting in Park City. |

| PARK CITY, Utah (April 10) - The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association has named Dr. Randy Hill head physiologist as according to Director of Sport Science Troy Flanagan. In addition to working with a team of physiologists to prepare America's athletes for the 2010 Olympics, Hill will lead the organization in identifying athletic talent. |

| PARK CITY, Utah (March 4) - It was almost a perfect storm - a blizzard of results. Saturday, the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding enjoyed one of its best competitive days ever. Americans won four World Cups Saturday, with three additional podium finishes. Among the winners were U.S. Snowboarding's Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, VT) and Nick Baumgartner (Iron River, MI) who swept the Visa U.S. Snowboarding Cup SBX in Lake Placid, and the U.S. Ski Team's Emily Cook (Belmont, MA), who won her first World Cup aerials event in Moscow. |
