Preliminary plans for a new indoor snow centre near London, England have been unveiled. The planned Wycombe Snow Centre would replace the Wycombe Summit that burnt down following a kitchen fire in November last year. The operators, the Snowdome Group who also own the Tamworth Snowdome near Birmingham, hope the dome will be up and running by 2008.

Plans for a $1.1-billion destination resort in Las Vegas including an indoor snow park have been unveiled. The project, tentatively named Las Vegas Wet, is primarily for a water park, but with the snowdome a major element. The site is planned for a 100 acre plot on Las Vegas Boulevard south of Interstate 215 by a group of. The full plans include two hotels, a casino, an events arena, a spa, a cinema and chain restaurants and retailers.

The principals of SnowVolution and Ski Trac International have announced the signing of an agreement with a Korean company to develop the SnowVolution system for a location in Korea. SnowVolution and Ski Trac have agreed to jointly develop the product, drawing on the expertise of each other for what will be a major departure in indoor snow skiing - a huge 300m diameter rotating snow field.
